In Windows 10, while the game and macro are running on your Dexktop, click the Task View button and then the big + sign to create another Desktop. Now you can work on this Desktop doing something else. Click the Task View button again to switch back to your other Desktop.

Note: If you don't see the Task View button on your Taskbar, right-click any blank spot on your Taskbar and then click the "Show Task View Button" once to enable it. You should then be able to see it next to the Windows Logo (Start) button on the Taskbar.

Two separate systems with a KVM is another option you might try.

Note that if this "macro" is smart enough to be able to tell when you are not actively engaged with the game window ... then it'll be a whole different story.
