Pulsing sound coming from my puta

I play my guitar through an amp & into my puta. With headphones on I can then learn songs playing along to Winamp. Lately tho, a pulsing beep has inermittently come up, and goes away shortly after I turn off Winamp. Any ideas?:mad:

try windows media player or vlc player and see if the beep goes.

im a fellow guitar player :p and unless you have some hardcore card, all your tone gets sucked man!
