I just got the new slimline PS2 and looking through the manual it says that all I need to connect online is a networking cable. I think that this is the cable that I need

can somebody correct me if I am wrong or direct me to the right cable that I need? My router is in another room so the cable has to be long. Thanks

That's a bad link. However, a plain Ethernet CAT5/CAT5e/CAT6 cable is all you need.
