it is probably best to contact microsoft, this is the most ethical way to handle this, and they are usually not that hard to deal with.

re product key

I have another product key that does not belong to my windows xp disc it belongs to the other disc that i cant find.
can i still access windows with my product key and without the xp disx or is there no other way?

I merged your threads, please try to keep this issue in one thread

Your product key is suppose to be affixed to the side of the case if you purchased the computer from a pc manufacturer like Dell and HP.

You cannot use another key that is already installed on another computer.
