No, you can not run your CPU at 3.5GHz. The numbers you got are just a rating from the software.

Okay, I just went srtest.com to find if I could run Red Alert 3 on my lappy. I know I can run it already, but I was just checking it out because I keep on crashing.
I know the problem is due to not having a strong enough processor, but the rating it gives me is that I have: 1.81 GHz Performance Rated at 3.50 GHz
What on earth does that mean?
I know I have 1.8 GHz processor, but what exactly does it mean to be performance rated at 3.5 GHz? Can I potentially run my processor at 3.5 GHz?
