I have just build a new system
I got Seagate Barracuda 500 GB and WD 250GB
When I had them both connected Windows would show them as 131560MB
I removed WD hard drive and it shows just one drive with 131560MB :sigh:
I got motherboard: ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe

Looks like you haven't installed service packs for XP.
Support for drives larger than 137GB was introduced with SP 1.

I tryed to install SP2 but it screwed up my system so Im reinstalling XP again
I thought XP supposed to show you the actual drive size during installation?
I have an error on my boot screen its: SPD missing byte 23 or 25 :sigh:
Do you what that means?

i cant install SP2 it keeps giving me error messages

I downloaded SP2 and trying to install it again
It starts installing and half way through it gives error message: set up cannot copy file msxml3.dll? But the file is already on my HD and I can see it

If the XP installation disc doesn't have a service pack included it won't "see" more than 128GB of the HDD.
