Problems with Explorer, etc

Im having a rather annoying problem with my computer and I cant quite figure it out. Its an HP Pavillion 6640C AMD K6-2 500MHZ with Win98 (not SE I dont think) and 384mb RAM. Quite often out of nowhere, Explorer will crash, sometimes preceded by another program or two, one called Savenow and the other my background program for my keyboard. I have no idea what savenow is, because I cant find that program running on my computer. It wont come up when I ctrl+alt+del. Anyhow, Im being led to believe so far that its the power supply thats gone bad, and I say that because on a couple occasions, the computer has restarted itself, while restarting (so like restarting twice, except the second time is in the middle of doing all the BIOS/CMOS loading stuff of the first restart). Now Im not sure if that relates to stuff crashing and the occasional (rather infrequent) lockup I have while surfing the internet, so perhaps someone more fluent with this blasted machine can give me a helpful hand. thanks in advance.

Save now i belive is spyware installed by kazaa or maybe another program like WhenU Toolbar
It is not needed. You can try and disable it by going into startmenu/run/ type in msconfig goto startup(tab) and unchecking it

The explorer crashing however is nothing new windows sucks and will always suck because billy boy just wants to release the new version of windows ontime before making sure it works right so he doesnt get sued. Anyways! Try reinstalled internet explorer or the new version or whatever that may help out or make it worse its hard to tell sometimes.

As for the shutting down it could be a shotty power supply but i would suggest searching the hp website for any patches for the power controler or even a bios update or any kind of a rom update first.

I hope that helps and good luck.
