Windows XP Home SP3

have tried :
Go to Start/Run and type SFC /scannow and press enter. Put the XP CD in and it will replace any missing System Files. :: I get a screen asking,What do you want to do? And 4 choices-Install Windows X
-Install optional Windows components
-Perform additional tasks
-Check system compatability
What am I to select, as I am not trying to do a reinstall. Only trying to replace missing components.
Thank you for any comments.

You are seeing the XP CD autostart menu from the XP CD. Close this window.
When you go to Start/Run and type sfc /scannow be sure to put a space between the c and the / and press enter. A yellow box should pop up and say please put the XP CD in, unless you have already got it in the CD drive
