Currently im running
GA7VA-XP
Athlon 2600+
512mb DDR 333
512mb DDR 333 PC2700

and when i bung it in it works fine, but when I boot into CS or BF2, it plays for awhile then closes on me.

This only started occuring when i added in the other 512mb which is a different brand.

I know there are RAM mismatching problems but the RAMS works in my other system fine.

any help would be great

Start by running Memtest http://www.memtest86.com/

It test your ram outside of Windows.

If this passes we will see if we can tweak some settings to make this ram work.

Standard test passed, with 0 errors.
with slot1 + 2
