Hi,
I have XP professional and am having problems pasting figures into word from powerpoint. The problems are many and varied. I take a tiff file and open it, edit it, crop it etc, in powerpoint and then upon pasting into word from powerpoint it will either refuse to be manipulated (moved, grouped, enlarged or altered in any way) or it will leave a big red X where I've pasted the figure, or if it is a composite figure it sometimes shuffles the various parts around or stretches them out so they are unrecognizable. I have also had trouble printing word documents that have had troublesome figures inserted in them. Is this a recognized bug? I have had the same issues on my home and work computers and so has one of my colleagues. Any help would be much appreciated, this problem is making it very hard to get anything done!

Are you using the same vintage of Office for both Word and PP? If not, there may be compatibility issues :4-dontkno .

Try using Edit>select all>ctrl-C and ctrl-V instead of the mouse buttons.

I would suggest you have Grouping issues but you mention that you've already check that.

I've already thought of that, both programs are from MSOffice10, so I don't think compatibility can be an issue. Anyone else had this problem?
