Hi there,

I have an old dell laptop computer with windows xp w/sp2 on it, and I'm having some problems into the BIOS I've tryed almost everything but unless I've missed something along the way I don't know on what to do.. So is there another way to get into the BIOS in a laptop?

Please e-mail me back with a solution on how can i do this?

THANKS!!

For almost ever Dell I've serviced (many many many!!) it's always been the F2 key. Start pressing it right after hitting the power button.

Give us the model and if possible the service tag and i can look it up at Dell.

F2 is always been the key for dells.

one other thing to try is to remove a stick of memory then reboot. It will give a memory decrease and offer f1 to continue or f2 for setup
