on a windows xp machine, having trouble installing the macromedia flash player 6.0 from the site. tried downloading it at the site, clicked ok to the download and security warnings, and it looked ok, but then the web page just sits there, and nothing comes up saying the installation is complete, and it never downloads or installs. any ideas? i really need the program!

Are you using a firewall? If so just disable it until you have installed the program than turn it back on.

flash player downloads very fast,look in c/windows/downloaded program files to see if it is there
