hi there everyone
I have a problem with Win XP service Pack 2
my computer is the slowest in the world so I always use hibernating to "shut down" my computer, Hibernating in Service Pack 1 works well
but when I recover my computer from hibernating in SP2 , my connection is broken : Limited or no connectivity , although if I restart Windows , the net is normal , and I can't use hibernation bacause after that I can't access the Internet
if anyone can help me , ....
thank you very much

Have you checked for malware?

If not, try these:-

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

http://www.ewido.net/en/

After running the above, go to START>RUN and type in sfc /scannow - you will need your XP disc to hand, as it may ask you to enter it.

Then defrag your drive and run a 'clean' on your registry - Regseeker is very reliable, run in auto clean mode and use your delete key to clear out the unwanted stuff:-

Are you using Norton?

thank you very much for your hint "Are you using Norton"
I pay my attention to BitDefender , and I disable the "Real-time Autoprotect" and AntiSpyware so my network connection is available ....
but what should I do now to turn on "Real-time protection" , instead of reinstalling BitDefender 10 ???
