I have an Asus P5N-E SLI with an Intel P4 3.06ghz chip and 2gb 533 memory. I've bought some more ram which is 2gb of Team Xtreem TXDD1024M800HC4.
My problem is that when i swap the old ram out for the new xtreem stuff i get the "NTLDR is missing" message. The ram seems to be working fine and i can boot into safemode without a problem. At one stage my computer even booted up normally after a few attempts with the new ram in and after about 5 minutes crashed and it hasn't booted up normally since but safemode still works fine.
Anyone have any solutions?
I've dropped my old ram back in and windows boots as normal. :4-dontkno

It could be ram incompatibility if you can switch back tot he old ram and it works fine.
One thing to check tho is bios updates, i have noticed that some of the nvidia bios updates have included fixes for ram incompatibility. It may be worth looking at. I had issues with my dominator ram and the latest bios seems to have fixed it.
I would also check the ram compatibility guide to see if it is listed. Nvidia chipsets can be fussy.

Another thing may be the voltage, the system may be using an auto voltage that is too low, check the rams requirements and set it manually in the bios if you have too
