I recently bought all these components for my new Computer:

Antec Nine Hundred Tower
Intel Core 2 Quad - Q9300
ASUS P5K Pro Motherboard
Sapphire Radeon HD 3870X2
Thermaltake 750W Powersupply
2x1GB 1066MHz RAM

and i used my previous harddrive with XP OS.

So i installed it all, started it up to find a blank screen.
All the Fans were working, the lights were working on the GFX Card and Motherboard.

So i changed the gfx card over and still no luck.
Any ideas? it will be greatly appreciated. :smile:

Clear cmos as per your mobo manual. After that go into bios
and make adjustments as per your system specs. Make sure everything
is connected and plugged in properly..

If you are able to get into your BIOS, it sounds like you need to do a repair install of XP. This will remove all the previous drivers from the XP install and let you install the new drivers.

If you happen to have a linux live cd hanging around you can pop that in to see if you get a boot off of it...

thanks guys, i cant actually get into the BIOS because nothing even shows on the screen.

Go through that, and see what happens. Might also want to try 1 stick of RAM, different DIMMS on RAM, etc.

If you can give more info on the type of memory you have that might also help...
