Hey,
Everytime I try to record on my microphone which is a MXL desktop recording kit, the quality on it is evil, it sounds like the bass is increased (i'll post a sample when im home). Before, I've had to use an equalizer to get it to work right but now I can't, it still sounds bad, I dunno if it's my sound card or my microphone but the drivers are up on them both, anyone with ideas please write, or ask for any specific information you need from me, as I have a lot of dead lines which I have already gone past. Any help greatly appreciated

So basically, your sound from your mic sound really bass heavy?

Have you tried the mic on a different machine to see if there is a difference?

Nah I really neeed to I know it would be the easy way to find out though huh, I'll try get a PC to check it out on ...

and yeah, I guess, hold on i'll take a sample and upload it now...

edit: it's not exporting it right, never mind


but yeah that's the problem, I think it may be the sound card but I dont know which one I have, my pc is pretty old and the sound card came free with it, it works fine with my desktop 5.1 surround speakers so I don't see why it won't work with this.
