I have a laptop running windows vista.
Laptop connects wirelessly and a desktop connects to the same network hardwired.
Both laptop and desktop have worked for years, but suddenly I cannot connect wireless with the laptop, desktop still connects fine.
Firewall is off.
Upgraded firmware: didn't fix it.
Rebooted router and modem: didn't fix it.
I can ping the router and get replys back.
I can access the local network.
Pings to
Yahoo! returns "..could not find host. check eht name and try again.
Pings to 204.71.200.72 request times out
Network and sharing center suggests that internet is connected (the globe is coloured in)
Any ideas?
