I did a full system restore on a Compaq 5340 with a Lexmark 3200 series printer......everything went well and the system restore worked great until I tried to re-install my printer with the installation CD.......then i started getting a message that said....."This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" whenever I try to install the printer......what do I do now?

I have done system restores before without encountering this problem....why now?

I'm using Windows 98 OS and attempting to reinstall using the CD that was included with the printer.

It has always worked before (have had to restore before)
