Printer Spooler Service is Not Running

Anyone know what this message means? For some reason, I have to to re-add my printer to my laptop with Windows XP. When I click on Control Panel and Add Printer, I get the message, Printer Spooler Service is Not Running.

Thanks for any help.

Have you tried starting the service yet?

Go to your start menu > run > type services.msc

In the window that loads scroll down to the Print Spooler and if it is not started, right click it and start it.
