A couple of things come to the top of my head.
The printer itself is "dirty". (the feeders for the paper). Should be something in a manual or help file about how to clean it.
Or a simple re-install of the driver might fix it.
Also, there should be a "Troubleshooting" area in the printer software. Most have them. Try going to your printer in the Control Panel and open it there. Look at the top for Help and click it. You should see Help Topics and Troubleshooter.
