Not sure how much info you need so if you need more let me know.
Dell Dimension 4550 Series.

When I power it on it says the Primary Drive 0 could not be found and ,"strike f1 to try to reboot, f2 for setup utility." Any ideas as to what the problem is and how to fix it?

check the data cable is secure and has not come loose
try a new data cable on the drive
