Whenever I start up Powerpoint, and sometimes when I first log in, I get a message from Powerpoint asking if I want to delete or keep two autorecover files. When I choose delete, another message appears, twice - "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk".

It seems there is no way out of this. Powepoint has made a note that there are autorecover file available, but they are not there, so it cannot delete the files and does not discard the note.

I have tried to find out where the note is stored, so I can manually remove it. Somewhere in the Registry, perhaps, or in an Autosave/recover location? I have searched for an answer but no luck.

Please could someone point me to the right place to remove these autorecover entries.

Thanks

John
