Hi Guys,

Experiencing flickering during gaming and eventual shut down of PC and was wondering if my PSU is a tad light or could it be a dodgy GPU card

Specs.

Intel E5200 Dual core CPU
2GB DDR2 RAM
ATI 4770 PCI-e GPU
WinPower 450W PSU
320GB IDE HDD

As well as this could an under powered PSU cause the PC to run slower than anticipated?

It's the dodgy power supply, would be my guess. The WinPower PSUs are absolute junk. That's actually a 350W PSU and now that's aged a little it's probably a 300W--too light for your system.

A Corsair VX450W or VX550W would be a prudent investment.
