I'm getting this Sparkle GeForce 9400GT graphics card and I only have pci slots not pci-e so im not going to change cards and i dont have the money to upgrade to a comp with pci-e. Anyways I was wondering four things:

Does 2 12v rails provide more efficiency than a single one for gaming?

Will a power supply with pci-e connectors work with a non pci-e card?

Is this Coolmax 450W power supply ok for my card?

Which of these two is better for my situation?
Coolmax CA-450W vs Coolmax CT-450W

Ok sorry it's been so long but i have been busy. I think i am going to get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=500w+thermaltake psu because it is thermaltake and they are very reliable so I hear. The only thing i need to know now is if this psu will fit into my case. I have an HP business desktop microtower d220 and this psu is atx12V 2.0. I need to know if this psu will fit into where my old one is or if there is any difference in size from whatever i have to this one. Thanks email me at [email protected]

If your buying thermaltake only purchase the toughpower series , the rest do not have good enough efficiency.

However , putting this much money into such a computer isn't going to yield very good results. Pci videocards tend to be very expensive and very slow compared to there pci-e conterparts. Also , the rest of the machines specs are not very good and will actually hold back even a 9400. What are you planning on doing with the card?
