I have an ASUS motherboard and am having some problems with it. With skeleton system and power attached, fans come on but no video and no response from the onboard speaker. I have troubleshot it down to either the motherboard or the power supply. The power supply is a 300 watt that puts out : +12 = 12A, +5 = 25A, +3.3 =20A.

The motherboard documentation says that it requires the following output: +12 = 15A, +5 = 30A, +3.3 22A.

Would the difference in Amperage output cause the problem that I am seeing?

Thanks for any help.

No, it's designed for AMD. Called: a7v266-e

Also, the fans don't stop. They keep spinning continuously.
Green light on the motherboard.
Everything seems to be working, but no Post.
