It only seems to work if you are using the onboard sound. I'm using an audigy 2 and an Echo Darla so I have no need for the onboard sound. I did test it though and it does work. I ran a cord from the line out on the onboard sound to a mixerboard which has 2 PA speakers plugged into.. It talks to me as it's booting up. It's pretty cool. But allready having 2 soundcards in the system I don't really want to have the onboard enabled.. Might cause some conflicts. And I don't always have my power amp on so I normally wouldn't hear the post reporter anyways.
