Hi.
I have an IOT device connected to my LAN by wifi.
It have a fixed address 10.0.1.39 and is set to operate on port xxxx.
I can connect to the device with firefox; "10.0.1.39:xxxx"
I want to be able to connect to the device from the WEB and have set up port forwarding on my Asus RT-AC87U, so that port xxxx points to 10.0.1.39
But typing; "MyIP:xxxx" does not connect. (From a device not connected to my LAN)
I have tried to disable firewall in Win10 and the Router, but it didnt help.

I would be very greatful for any help!
Regards svein

Does your ISP provide a modem or router and is the ASUS behind that modem/router and bridged, etc?

Sorry about all the questions, I'm trying to rule everything I think it could be out.
