I am using an ASUS Extreme AX300 display adapter and an Acer Widescreen monitor. Everything is fine with my PC except the display. All resolutions have waves going through them. Some resolutions are worse than others. The bad resolutions look like an old CRT television with bad reception, while 1280x1024 is much better but still has little wavy lines. It's hard to explain. I swapped the Acer monitor with a different monitor (HP, not a widescreen) and the display was crystal clear so I assumed it was the Acer monitor causing the problem. But then I used the Acer with my parents' PC and it had a perfect display. So... ***?

I have updated my display adapter drivers and reseated the video card. I'm starting to think that perhaps my ASUS card just isn't compatible with this monitor. Is that possible? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm not at home right now by my PC to check, but I have my invoice from my order. It says Acer AL1916W 19" 8ms Widescreen LCD.
