Hey everyone! This is my first post and I really need any help I can get to build a new computer. My budget is $900. I prefer shopping on tiger direct and newegg but anywhere is fine really. The cheapest price is what I usually look for. Ok, here is where i need help. I want to build a computer with:

250GB hard drive 7200 rpm
4 GB ddr2 RAM
3.0 GHz processor or more
8 USB 2.0s or more
512 graphics card
Some colorful LEDs
PS2 support
Vista support
No accessories

I have no clue what kind of case or power supply to get because I am totally new to this. Any help would be appreciated. :)

PS
I don't need a monitor and I live in Mississippi.
By the way, is it usually cheaper to build a computer with the specs i have or just to buy a premade one?
Also what is overclocking?

THANKS once again!!

I don't know exactly what dual and quad core means. If you have a dual core 2.4 Ghz processor, is that equally to 2 seperate 2.4s? or is it just faster? thanks for any help

Correct. It's two cores each at 2.4. But you can't add up the cores to get a total GHz number, that's not the way it works. Even a dual core 2.4 is faster than a single core 3 or 3.4.
