Don't think you need to fix anything with PnP that is not broken. If using XP, just make sure your BIOS setup menu has the PnP set to Disabled, and if using Win98, then set it to Enabled. My guess would be that it is already set that way, but that is how it should be. Also, make sure you have the latest drivers for anything that is not functioning properly.
