I am haveing trouble hooking another desktop up in my house i have a main one witch the modem and router are connected to but the 2 cond one is not detecting the internet ( i am running it through a internetcable not wireless) plez help

Hi and welcome to TSF do you have the drivers installed,have you tried another port on the router

Drivers and i will try changing port but i know the internet is comeing in

then look in device manager do you have any error flags ie yellow ! or red Xs

When im in device manger

Go to Start/Run and type devmgmt.msc and press enter. In the Device Manager, are any of the devices branched out and have a yellow mark next to them? These devices will require drivers. Go to the Computer Manufacturers Support/Download Drivers site and type in the make and model # of the computer to be taken to the download page for that particular computer.
