i have just bought the a new mother board, the Asus P4S8X, with 512 DDR 333 Ram, Asus Geforc 4 Ti4200 128 mb, 120 gb hard drive (ibm).
the problem i have is when i start up my computer i get this beeping noise and also have the message BIOS NOT INSTALLED
can any one help me solve this problem?

does it matter if u have no additional fans on the motherboard could this be the reason why the motherboard is beeping????????

the beeping sounds like a police siren if thats n e help
On Asus boards, that's an over-heat temp alarm as I recall (atleast was on mine) Does the fan on the CPU spin up?
