Please Help Me!!!!

Hello,
I'm completely new to all this and I'm not really computer minded, but I was wondering if someone could please help me with my computer.
Recently, when I try to burn a new CD on windows media player 10, the computer restarts on its own and will not let me make a CD. All other actions on the computer work except for this. The error report that was sent said:

'You received this message because a device driver installed on your computer caused the Windows operating system to stop unexpectedly. This type of error is referred to as a "stop error." A stop error requires you to restart your computer.'

But it did not tell me how to try and fix this problem so now I am just getting frustrated!
If anyone has any tips or anything that could help, I would be very grateful.

Please post your system specs. If you can download Lavlays Everest programme from the net, and post a report so we can see what hardware you have.

Also, can you check for me:

Right click on My Computer and choose Properties/Hardware tab/Device Manager. Please let me know if you have any yellow or red 'bangs'/little logos next to anything. If so let me know as best as you can what they are.
