I have Windows XP Professional, and today I poped in a CD. Nothing happened so I tried a diffrent CD, and nothing. So I went
in to My Computer and Windows XP was not seeing my 2 CD rom
drives. It only see's my floppy drive can any one help. PLEASE
PLEASE

I have a
ACER 8x4x32 CDR/RW DRIVE
PINE 52X CD-ROM DRIVE

Well this is confusing Error code 39= Disk is full :eek: :no: Since that cant be right I would say serious driver corruption ... and Dj's probably got it if you forced an install of that not so good earlier version of the software.

Disconnect the CD's from the IDE Cables.

Run regedit and delete the Enum key under HKEY_ LOCAL _MACHINE

Current

Control Set.

Reboot and have your drivers handy.

I have never tried this with XP so do so at your own risk.
