Playing online Help

Hello guyz,

I've played some stuff on my PC but I'm very interested in playing online with friends etc. I want some general information like if I have NFS carbon installed on my pc, and my friend has it installed on his system. If we've got internet connection then what else do we need to play together.

There was one ea-nation online but it doesn't list the specific game I want to play.

How exactly do we connect with each other?
