my pc is plugged into my tv using a usb to hdmi converter. when i startup my pc it directly puts me to my desktop so theres none of that welcome to windows 7 setting whatsoever. since the screen was kinda blurry i decided to change the resolution settings on the nvidia using the recommended resolution for my tv. when i clicked that, the screen just went to black even after a reboot. ive checked on other solutions but since i couldnt see a windows welcome screen i couldnt see anything. is there any other way like a shortcut key to open nvidia and a shortcut key to select a res? like right click and then (nvidia shortcut key here) then how many times i have to press the up or down key to get to the screen res settings? id really appreciate it. i still got loads of thesis coming up and i hate typing on the ipad.

Ok boot the pc into safe mode and reset your resolution settings for your nvidia card.

Next , your nvidia settings will have nothing to do with your usb gpu. Your usb gpu is a completely separate gpu by itself. you would have to change the display setting for it alone in the windows display properties.
