Pioneer htp-071 home cinema

Ok so this is my first time using one of these forums. I'm not even sure if i'm in the right section but I have just brought an lg smart tv and a pioneer htp-071 home cinema package. It is conected to the telly with a hdmi cable. When i first set it up it worked fine but when i turn it off (to standby) and turn it back on again it stops working. If I unplug it from the back of the amp and plug it in again it works fine! Obviosly I don't wont to have to do this everytime i wont to use it can anyone help?

You may need to power on the AVR and then the TV (or vice versa). If they are both on, and then you turn one of them off and back on, it should still work, but that is not always the case.

In any event, two possible causes come to mind. One of the devices is faulty or more likely you are experiencing an HDCP glitch. You can try replacing the HDMI cable, but more than likely it's just an issue that you will to live with.
