hey guys, I let my buddy use my MacBook for a day and he loaded a crack for CS3 on my HD and "deleted" it. Now I have the disk from Adobe for the real CS3 (design suite premium) and it will load everything but photoshop!!!!!!!!!!!
I need this to run by Mid June!

Any help would be great

Unfortunately, I do not know where on the hard drive Adobe keeps that kind of info. I'd uninstall everything that you have installed from Adobe, then search for anything on the hard drive with Adobe in it, then delete it by hand and try again. But there is a file on your hard drive somewhere that the crack CS3 installed, and the proper installer is seeing and causing it to stop.

I have looked through all of my HD and there is nothing Adobe on it!

Then I'm not sure what to say. There is a file that the installer sees, and if you can find it, then you will most likely have to either contact Adobe about it, or reformat your hard drive and start over.

Another option may be to use AppDelete to remove the "real" copy and hopefully it will fully delete all the files from the previous install. If not, maybe re-install the cracked copy then use AppDelete to get rid of it and try it again.

I had the same issue last year. I had to contact Adobe and they had to send me a new disk because the disk was technically defective.
Abode does have a simple script that you run to get rid of the previous install, but it sounds like you've already got it working.
