I contacted Photodex support and was told that my problem was either Windows XP Professional or the AVG Virus protection software. They told me to use MAIL only in the SMTP setting instead of my traditional settings.

I turned off all Virus Protection and shut down the Firewall ... still could not send e-mail from within the Photodex program. The same holds true with CompuPic Pro another Photodex software product. I CAN create the slide show and attach it to an Outlook Express e-mail ... after turning off the "protection".

I would like to know what I am doing wrong ... any ideas? Thanks
