Phone calls break into OnLine use via dialup?

Is there any way to configure things so thatwhen someone calls us while we are working on-line, that we will be able to know they are calling and go off line and receive their call..we are missing some important calls when we are on line (dialup) and don't really want to try to go to a second phone line unless it is absolutely necessary..
Any ldeas?
Thanks in advance

Hi,

There are several devices that can accomplish this. For example, many moons ago, I used one called "Catch-A-Call" and it was an excellent device. They are usually available at some local retailers or you can find some on Ebay. There are others that do this job also, but I always felt the quality of this one was one of the best.

You can also get a v.92 modem and if your ISP supports this service, then you can also use that method.

Hope this helps....you might want to call your ISP and ask them if they support this service first. If not, then go with the Catch-A-Call type hardware. You don't have to have v.92 modem to use the Catch-A-Call type device.
