Help guys! I've got a basket case on my hands (besides myself). It's an Athlon system with SiS chipset that is showing 2 floppy drives (only one in system) and no CD drive. BIOS is detecting them properly. Any ideas?

That's what is strange - they don't even show up in Device Manager. I may have to do a reinstall(groan). Gonna try to update the drivers first though.

Update: I ran regedit and deleted the "enum" key to force a redetect of hardware. Still no go.

Cleaned it out - no cd drive there in safe mode either.

Final update...

Finally got rid of the problem by reinstalling Windows. I guess something was too buggered for a Device Manager purge to get rid of it. Thanks to all who helped!
