I just bought the VTBook PCMCIA graphics card in mid-September 2005. This card is supposed to power a third monitor in addition to the notebook's own monitor and the external monitor attached to the notebook's external video (usually VGA) port.

After clicking on INSTALL button, the installation starts but, very soon
after that, a "MSICA" window opens up with the following message:

" <PciSysPatch> Error: Cannot access system registry. (error code: 2) "

I aborted the installation process to avoid messing my system up.

This bothers me because the installation program (dated Feb 2005) is the latest one available today (Sept 17, 2005). Someone had a similar problem in April 2005 as can be seen from the following post. That post is more informative because this person proceeded father than I did, could not get the 3rd monitor to work, and posted Windows' diagnostic on the problem. See:

I am getting the same error message on my Lenovo X61 tablet PC with Win XP SP2. I have updated BIOS and all drivers. So out of date drivers are not an issue. Google shows that other people have had the same problems but did not find any solution to the problem.
Thanks.
