I took apart the computer to reapply paste, get rid of dust and swap out my power supply. When I replugged the CPU four prong power I plugged it in the wrong four prongs negative in positive by accident i quickly realized it when the processor didnt power on and fixed it but my PCI Express slot no longer works for my video card. The video card works in other computers but the slot no longer gives power to the card when the computer boots. Is this a new MOBO or is there a way to reverse or fix this? Thanks for your time

It's a gateway GT5428 with aftermarket parts in it.

CPU is a Pentium D 3.2ghz
RAM is 4 GB G Skill
The GPU is Nvidia 8600GTS
Powersupply is BFG TECH 650W

Someone said it could be a blown capacitor? The PCI Express slot seems to be the only one that doesn't work.
