I have an e systems pc model: ei303
Just recently it has been failing to start. You push the "on" button, the fan starts but after 1 or 2 seconds it all goes off before xp loads. The "on" button won't work again until I turn the power off and on again round the back of the pc. After several attempts the pc will eventualy start up, but it's taking more and more attempts every time I want to use the pc.
Any surgestions?

my pc model is ei303.
without looking inside I can't remember which pentium processor, mother board etc it has. The only thing I've added to it is another 1gb RAM as it only came with 500mb. It doesn't have a video card, just whatever it came with.
I have checked the bias health status:
system temp: cpu temp 57c
system fan: 2678rpm
cpu fan: 2445 rpm
v core: 1.32 v
+12v: 12.09v
VCC 5 (v): 5.00v
VCC 3.3: 3.36v
v batt: 2.91v
5vSB: 4.97v

E-Machine PSU's are infamous for failure and your symptoms point to a power issue.
