Hello. My pc wont play any cds or dvd's . When I check the drive it only has a blank screen instead of the name of program i am trying to open.
All was working well until a sticker I had on a cd fell off and into the drive. I wouls like to know can the actual drive be opened so I can take out sticker ? Im pretty sure its causing all the trouble !

Chances are the "sticker" is now in pieces so that it maybe hard to completely remove it.
You maybe better of installing a new CD-DVD Rom.
The sticker may have also damaged the Laser in the drive

You have to unscrew and take apart the drive.

Ill unscrew it and see if i can salvage something.
If not , its a new drive for me .
