Hi im having a bit of trouble i have a cam corder and i am trying to record its contents to a dvd using a dvd-player recorder, okay i plug it in away it goes it records and then will play back on the same player (player is Samsung DVD-VR320) but it wont play back on any other dvd players and most importantly the computer cus i wanna be able to rip its contents to computer for editing

any ideas?

aswell its clear to see the dvd has been written to you can see its marks on ther

Depends on the format the recording is in. Find out what format it is
and try to convert, or record in a format that is more acceptable to
most machines.
You can try k-lite codec pack, or coles codecs for your pc, this
will give you a wider variety of codecs. But it may be a proprietary
format from your camera....

Why dont you plug that cam into your computer instead and then drop your video to your pc

this will make it alot easier to edit and burn, just make sure you burn your DVD in the proper

format that your samsung can play it.
