Why is my PC showing up as Other Devices from another laptop on my network?

Both have windows 10 installed and on my PC I can see the laptop under 'Computer' but on the laptop my PC shows under 'Other Devices' and I can only access it by typing the IP address.

Please help!

Make sure the SSDP service is running probably is or you would see nothing most likely. Also Go to Control Panel\Network and sharing center\ advanced sharing settings

Make sure your network is set to home or work, enable windows sharing. (may be a little different with windows10 but path will be similar)

Also check the firewall is not blocking the discovery process from working properly. easiest way is to temporarily disable it and see if the problem is fixed.
