PC keeps shutting down by itself

I have a pentium 4 3.2 w/ 1g ram, asus p4c800e mobo. My pc will just shut itself off some times for no apparent reason. I pulled the connectors from my had drives to my mobo and reconnected them and that helped for a while but it still happens sometimes and I dont know why. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
