Well, actually none of the games act in the same way. All that is similar is that it usually happens about 20-30 minutes in game.

- The Saboteur loses his image and displays a black and white blur, while the sound is still fine. I can easily Alt+Tab to the desktop.

- Left 4 Dead slows down to about 1%, forcing really annoying looping sounds.

- Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is unaffected and works flawlessly.

- Oblivion would sometimes jam up for a few seconds and then unfreeze, having the textures all mixed up.

Now, I'm pretty sure it's hardware related, and I think it's the SPU, but I want to think what you guys think. I'm using windows xp, have a GForce 8600 GT graphic card, 2 GB of ram, and a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 ghz processor.

Not sure what brand the SPU is, but I think it accepts 230 volts, or something like that.

Also, a report of the readings from the SpeedFan might be useful. This was taken about a minute after playing The Saboteur for 20 minutes or something like that.
