PC controller

So, as it is impossible to play some games with two players without a 2nd controller (Lord of the Rings: Return of the King) I need a controlling device besides my keyboard and mouse to control the game with. I have tried going to radioshack and all they had that I could get were corded gigaware PC controllers which suck. If I try to look up I look left, if I look down, i look right. If I run in a diagonal line, I look up. I have calibrated and even tried using Xpadder on it and nothing works. I finally got around to looking up the controller and it has met with poor reviews. So finally I'm thinking about getting a 360 controller and using it for my pc, but i don't know how to do that, I just know you can. So where can i get them w/ the alleged software disc you need for it to work with pc?

A 360 (Wired) Controller for the PC is basically Plug & Play with XP SP3, aswell as Windows Vista and Windows 7. Many games will automatically detect the controller and setup default controls.

If your system does not detect the 360 controller right away or asks for drivers you can get them here.
